Esteban Gil is a Connecticut-based photographer, educator, and speaker with more than 12 years of experience in the photography industry. As the founder of Esteban Gil Photography and the Steel & Flint Society, a community of more than 12,000 photographers, Esteban has built his career around creativity, education, and helping photographers grow both artistically and professionally.

His work spans weddings, portraits, fashion, and creative lighting, while his passion for education has taken him from workshops and online communities to speaking at photography conferences around the country. As a first generation immigrant, Esteban’s journey has shaped the way he approaches his career, community, and the opportunities he creates for others.

Outside of photography, Esteban is a proud father of two boys, Landon and Leo, and shares both life and creative adventures with his partner, Mandy. Whether he’s behind a camera, teaching a room full of photographers, recording a podcast, or spending time with his family, Esteban believes in building a career that leaves plenty of room for the people and experiences that matter most.
