Please note: This update is intended only for a small group of customers who may be affected by the pricing change. We would like to reaffirm that your plan is safe until April 2028, with some exclusive upgrade options for being part of Aftershoot.

Not applicable for new users or unaffected subscribers.

AI Retouching is officially out of beta, and with it, we’re launching Aftershoot Complete, our new all-in-one plan that brings culling, editing, and retouching into one seamless workflow.

As part of this update, we’ve refreshed how Aftershoot plans are named and priced. The new pricing makes Aftershoot more accessible and photographer-friendly.

If you’re reading this, you’re on one of our earlier plans — and we’ve kept it for you. Your price doesn’t change. Your tools don’t change. You don’t have to do anything.

What Stays the Same

  • Your price stays exactly the same — locked for you through April 2028.
  • Your tools stay in your workflow — everything you use today keeps working.
  • You don’t need to switch, re-enter payment, or take any action. It’s all handled.

Here’s What’s New

With Aftershoot Complete here now, here are the new changes:

  • AI Retouching is out of beta — it’s now a full product.
  • We launched Aftershoot Complete — one plan that combines Culling, Editing, and Retouching.
  • All new plans are modular – Now you can choose between Select, Edit, and Retouch, build your own bundles, or get the Complete bundle (comes with a 25% discount on an annual subscription)
  • Legacy plans like yours are no longer sold to new customers. But we’re keeping yours active at your current price through April 2028.

Curious About the New Plans?

Totally optional, but if the all-in-one workflow interests you, we’ve put together upgrade options with a thank-you discount (up to 60% of the upgrade cost, capped at up to $200), and your remaining balance will be automatically applied at checkout to support Aftershoot.

Once you select your upgrade, please click checkout. On the payment page, you’ll see the difference (post discount) you need to pay for the upgrade.

Or check the FAQ below for anything else.

Did my price go up?

No. Your current price is locked for you through April 2028. Nothing about what you pay today changes.

You don’t have to switch plans, re-enter payment, or take any action. Everything continues as-is. An upgrade is available if you want it, but it’s entirely optional.

My plan isn’t sold anymore. Am I losing it?

No. It’s no longer offered to new customers, but we’re keeping it active for you at your current price through April 2028. You keep full access the whole time.

What happens in April 2028?

We’ll reach out well before then with your options — there’s nothing you need to think about now. Your plan and price are unchanged until then.

What is Aftershoot Complete?

Our all-in-one plan combines Culling, Editing, and Retouching into a single workflow. It’s optional for you; your current plan will continue to work exactly as it does today.

What happened to AI Retouching being free?

Retouching was free while in beta. Now that it’s a finished product, it’s part of Aftershoot Complete. Your current plan isn’t affected; this only matters if you choose to upgrade.

Why did Aftershoot change its pricing?

Two reasons: clearer plan names that tell you what’s inside, with modularity that allows you to use Aftershoot just as you would like to, and a single, simpler pricing structure going forward. Neither changes what existing customers like you already pay.

Where can I see my current plan and price?

Open Aftershoot and go to your account on the website — your plan name and billing details are listed there. If anything looks off, message us, and we’ll sort it out.

Still unsure where you stand? Message us in-app, and we’ll confirm your exact plan, price, and what (if anything) changed. No upsell – just a clear answer.
