Most photographers see a 90%+ match rate with their own selections by the third or fourth shoot, as the AI learns their style over time. You always have the final say, and nothing is ever deleted — so you can review and adjust at any point.

• What if it misses an important moment?

  Aftershoot is non-destructive – it never deletes images. Every photo stays accessible in the rejected view. The AI guarantees at least one image from every duplicate group, even if it’s not the strongest frame from the sequence. And you can always review the rejected pile in seconds using Survey Mode.

• How long does AI photo culling actually take?

• Does Aftershoot work offline? Is my data safe?

  Yes. Aftershoot works locally on your computer, so you can process your images without depending on cloud uploads or a constant internet connection. That also gives you more control over your files. Our workflow is non-destructive, which means we don’t overwrite your originals, and ratings for RAW workflows are typically written to XMP sidecar files instead of changing the source files themselves.

  Plans can also be paused during slower seasons if you don’t need it year-round.

• What are the suggested system requirements for running Aftershoot?

  Aftershoot runs smoothly on any modern Windows or macOS computer. The minimum system requirements are 8GB of RAM and a relatively recent CPU.

  Note: Features like preview rendering and retouching may not work reliably on systems using Intel Integrated Graphics (iGPU) or GPUs with less than 2GB VRAM.
